Our Vendors

We thought you might want to check out some of the people we've booked for our special day! Click their logo to go to their web site.

Melissa has been finding a lot of wonderful people for us to work with. She's been pretty quick to understand the styles that we like and find vendors that suit us. Most of the people we've contracted with have been after a single meeting! Be sure to thank her for us when you see her at the wedding!

Jeremy was one of the first people we booked. After seeing his web site and his style of photography, we knew we had to hire him to shoot our wedding! He's also going to be doing a "trash the dress" session at some point down the road.

Jeremy has done photo shoots for Elle Magazine, Hamer Guitar, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and a lot more! Check out his blog to see a bunch of the work
he's done, including recent weddings.

Ben is our awesome videographer! Click on his logo to see some of his wedding videos that he's done for other couples, or go to his other videos to see some of the other projects he's worked on. Ben really seems to "get" the style of editing we like and we're sure he's going to capture the day exactly the way we want. Don't worry... he's not the kind of guy that's going to come up to you during the reception and force you to "say a message to the bride and the groom". If want to tell us something, you can go to the "video confessional" booth that they're going to set up and have a private setting to tell us anything you want.

The florist has been chosen! Mandi spent a lot of time working with Scarlet Petal to come up with floral arrangements and stage props that we think will really blow you away! We don't want to give too much away, but if you know how we like things that are a bit out of the ordinary, then it might give you a small idea of what to expect. The girls over at Scarlet Petal did a great job of coming up with ideas that meshed with Mandi's vision.

We had our cake tasting and can't wait for all of you to try it at the wedding! Rolf's Patisserie let us try a ton of flavor combinations, and we're pretty sure we've come up with something delicious that everyone will enjoy. Can't give too much away right now... just be sure you try a slice!

Mark Riva will be providing our musical entertainment for the evening. He's having us select ALL of the music that will be played througout the evening and he's going to break it up into sets and mix it together in a way that will keep everyone out on the dance floor. He's going to do a great job of keeping people entertained the entire evening!

Chelsey will be styling the bridal party's hair. Mandi's been going to her for years to get her hair cut and styled and she's really the only person Mandi trusts to do it right. She has a station at the Sandra Ross Salon in Oak Park, IL (across the street from our old apartment), so if you're ever in the area and need a haircut and want it done right.. ask for Chelsey! (Tell her Mandi and Mike sent you so we earn some brownie points!)

Just like it sounds. . . we're going to have a photobooth during the reception! Instead of having a boring old book that everyone signs, you'll take (a hopefully funny!) picture to put in our book. On top of that, you'll get to keep a copy of the picture for yourself. But that's not all! The photobooth will be around all night, so you can go to it whenever you get the urge to grab some props (did we mention that we ENCOURAGE props?) and take a silly picture for us to find later! We'll also get digital copies so you can download them later to put on your fancy web pages to prove you were there!

We'll be adding more as we have time! Check back soon!!
